What does each thinking map do?
There are eight Thinking Maps, each helping to develop a crucial set of thinking skills and organise students thoughts into a logical sequence to gain deeper understanding about concepts and contexts.
What One do i use?
Each Thinking Map has a purpose and a specific way of organising ideas.Students are taught about each map and its function, from there students use metacognition to actively think about their thoughts and the best way to organise their ideas. Education outside of the classroomThinking Maps can be used in Education Outside of The Classroom (EOTC) in a range of ways. A range of example situations, where the Thinking Maps are used to help students to critically think, represent their knowledge, and their new learning is outlined below.
